At low tide on Branch Beach in Newfoundland, I photographed the curving line of seaweed, pebbles, and assorted jetsam that the sea had deposited on the sand.
In the 8 drawings developed from those photographs, I also inserted drawings of objects found on other Newfoundland beaches and from scavenging in the back laneways of Toronto, the city where I live.
