At low tide on Branch Beach in Newfoundland, I photographed the curving line of seaweed, pebbles, and assorted jetsam that the sea had deposited on the sand. In the series of drawings developed from those photographs, I capture the careful way the sea has arranged everything. Where land meets sea is a place of constant change and rich beauty. This is my response to that moment.
